Urosurgical Mission 2009

Last July 17, 2009 the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology held the first Urosurgical Mission. This was spearheaded by Drs. Lester Garcia and Pedro Lantin III. Urology Residents from East Avenue Medical Center were also on hand to provide added manpower to the said event.

Selected patients underwent Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) and other urologic procedures. All costs incurred by the patients were covered by the hospital through the approval given by the Medical Center Chief, Dr. Relito Saquilayan.
